The City of Miramar and SCORE are collaborating to present the Miramar Business Academy.
The Academy is a Spring 2025 program that consists of 10 live on-line sessions on business topics held on-line once a week for two hours from 6:30 - 8:30 PM.
The program is targeted to show attendees how to write a simple 4 - 5 page business plan with financial projections.
This is a certificate program. Participants who complete the course and write a business plan will receive a Graduation Certificate and be honored by the City of Miramar's Economic Development & Housing Department. They could also be eligible to apply for up to a $10,000 grant from the city.
It will also highlight weekly, microloans and community based loans from other sources that are available to entrepreneurs and business owners with business plans and financial projections from the course.
The Miramar Business Academy starts March 6,2025
Participants will be provided with a business plan template, a profit and loss statement template, and a financial projection program. The weekly sessions demonstrate what to put in each section of the template. SCORE mentors will be available to assist with the preparation of the documents.
