Pikes Peak Regional Hospital is Now Part of the UCHealth Family
UCHealth is proud to welcome Pikes Peak Regional Hospital (PPRH) to its network of health care facilities. PPRH has had a longstanding partnership with UCHealth and Memorial Hospital, and joining the system will provide increased resources for patients, staff and medical providers.

Friday, April 13 Black Bear Trail to Nobel Cabin Hike 9:15 am Meet at the Comfort Station Join Volunteer Naturalist Cindi on this 4 mile moderate hike out to Nobel Cabin by way of the Black Bear Trail. Dress for the weather! Park in extra spaces by the Comfort Station or at Elk Meadow and carpool!
Sunday, April 15 Homestead Trail Hike 9:15 am Meet at Homestead Trailhead This loop includes several trails going by Geer Pond and the beautiful Bacon Rock formation! In total, about 4 miles rated moderate to difficult due to hills. Be prepared for all trail conditions and weather! Join Volunteer Naturalist Nancy.

Diesel Technology Classes
Classes begin on May 8, 2018 in partnership with Pikes Peak Community College. Classes will be held two evenings per week and every other Saturday! As always, there is no cost for the student to participate in this training! Deadline to apply is April 20th
Some of the details of this training program include: (also on the attached flier)
- Hands-on academic instruction and job-related training working on Discover Goodwill's fleet vehicles
- Two certificates earned upon completion, including Diesel Lube Technician and Diesel Fleet Maintenance Technician
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Training
- Job placement with employers ready to hire!

Science Matters will help you discover the magic of flight and explore the forces of motion while having fun! Ever wonder exactly how a plane stays in the air? You will learn how airplanes overcome their weight to fly. We will discover how an airplane's wings use two types of science to beat gravity and generate a force known as lift. Come experiment with air and learn about Bernoulli's Principle. This is a hands-on program for all ages.

Driver Safety Consultants, Inc. the premiere provider of Driver Education Training, Driver license and Instructional Permit Testing and Driver Evaluation Services is excited to announce some important changes.
Beginning today, our name will change to "COLORADO DRIVER SAFETY INSTITUTE".
We will be expanding our services to include physical classroom instruction classes at the Woodland Park Public Library. We will also expand the services for Driver License Examinations to more days per week beginning May 1.

2018 Marigreen Pines Tours
Tickets go on sale May 16 for the much anticipated tours of the historic Marigreen Pines Estate in Cascade. The event will be held on Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15. The tours of the estate are hosted by the Ute Pass Historical Society. Marigreen Pines was the home of the Thomas Cusack family from 1895 until 1978. The tour includes their original home, Ellinor Cottage, as well as the elaborate Marigreen Pines mansion built in 1923. The tour is the biggest fundraiser for the non-profit group.
