Cripple Creek District Museum Escape Room

The Cripple Creek District Museum is pleased to announce the opening of the first of three different themed Escape Rooms. Each room immerses the participants in Cripple Creek history and is themed around a different topic. Two levels of difficulty are available - Advanced, for those who have experience with Escape Rooms; Novice for children and those who have not ventured into an Escape Room before. Groups of 2-6 people per session. Cost is $20 for adults and $10 for children. Reservations are required.

Beating an escape room requires teamwork, speed, creativity, and patience. Escape rooms are perfect for family vacations, or just having fun with your friends. Even if you don't actually get out of the room, the whole team will have a blast and make memories that will be shared for a long time.

More information can be found at the District Museum website. Call 719-689-9540 to make reservations information.

Healing Spot Physical Therapy Offers Help with Back Pain

Healing Spot
The PELVIC FLOOR is essentially the whole bottom of the back. But when was the last time you had a back ache and thought about your pelvic floor? Maybe only if you couldn't sit on a hard chair ...or you wanted to have sex but knew it would hurt your back....or you tried to push out a poo only to find that shot pain up to your back...or you fell snowboarding and realized your tailbone was extremely sensitive and wowzers that's awfully close to your nether region! Sounds familiar? Try this general Pelvic Floor Release and hold for 3-5 min to see if this helps you.
Hey Ladies,

Healing Spot Even if you're not missing work because of your low back pain, add up all the time you're missing out on a good night's rest, suffering with pain when traveling, and even giving up the THINGS that you really LOVE to do. I successfully treat a lot of people with back pain, and I hear of all kinds of ways they cope and the things they have tried to relieve their pain: Over-the-counter pills, massage, chiropractic, gadgets they order from TV, stretches, prescribed meds, injections and just plain living with it. TAKE A SHORTCUT on your journey to healing your backaches: DOWNLOAD my Free ULTIMATE LOW BACK PAIN GUIDE and start reading tonight.

The Healthy Families and Workplaces Act of Colorado

Governor Polis signed the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA or the Act) into law yesterday, Tuesday, July 14. The Act took effect immediately upon the Governor's signature; however, certain provisions of the Act will not take effect until 2021 and 2022 depending on the size of the employer. For the remainder of this year, the Act will require all employers to comply with the emergency paid sick leave requirements of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). Currently, the FFCRA applies to employers with fewer than 500 employees. The Act will extend FFCRA coverage to larger employers in the state. January 1, 2021, employers with 16 or more employees will need to begin providing paid sick leave to their employees. On January 1, 2022, all employers will be subject to the Act's requirements. For this Act, the term employer means both private and public employers, excluding only the federal government. Also, due to the overlap between the Colorado Health Emergency Leave with Pay (Colorado Help) Rules and the HFWA, the Division is terminating the requirements of the Colorado HELP Rules after July 14th, because July 15th is the first full day in which HFWA is in effect.
