Learn how to make a real difference in the state we call home. Rally with others to activate, network, and mobilize Christians and conservatives to turn Colorado back to God. Are You Working to Heal?
 
Ever find yourself in a "healing crisis"? If you're actively healing through chronic pain or trauma and doing the work to become a better version of yourself, you may have come face-to-face with a healing crisis. Simply put, after treatment sometimes you will experience what's called a healing crisis, which means you will get stirred up anywhere from a mild increase in your symptoms to a major flare-up. I've personally gone through many healing crises over the years in my journey of healing from chronic constant headaches. Guided Hike on the Geologic Trail, 9:15 am
Join Geologist Wayne Orlowski for 1.5 hour hike on the Geologic Trail.  This hike will provide an in-depth look at the geologic processes that led to the formation of one of the richest fossil deposits in the world.

Night Sky Program, 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Join park staff and members of the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society to gaze at the dark skies above Florissant Fossil Beds in search of planets, galaxies, nebulas, and more. Meet at the visitor center.

CASA of the Pikes Peak Region holds 2nd Annual Light of Hope Teller

Please join us for a breakfast fundraiser to learn more about CASA of the Pikes Peak Region. Thanks to generous sponsors, there is no cost to attend and 100% of proceeds will support programs for abused children in Teller County.
 
The event is Wednesday, September 25 from 7:30 am - 8:30 am at the Shining Mountain Golf Course located at 100 Shining Mountain Lane in Woodland Park. An RSVP is required to Jill Cheetham at jillc@casappr.org.
