October Public Testing Sites

Who can be tested?
Individuals 12 and above experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
For a list of COVID-19 Symptoms visit the CDC website.
Individuals 12 and above that were exposed, 7-10 days ago, to someone with COVID-19 that had a lab confirmed positive test.

What are the steps to getting tested?
1. Drive to the designated testing site with a valid ID and park in the designated testing spot
2. Stay in your car. A staff member wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment will come to your car to verify your information, collect specimen, and provide you with education
3. Specimens are sent to the state laboratory and may take 5 days to process
4. You will be contacted by phone with your results from the local or state health department
For more information on viral testing and other testing that may be provided by healthcare providers visit CDC website.
Why is it important to get tested?
A viral test tells you if you are positive or negative for COVID-19 at the time of the test
If you test positive for COVID-19, know what protective steps to take If You Are Sick or Caring for Someone.
If you test negative for COVID-19, you probably were not infected at the time your sample was collected. However, that does not mean you will not get sick. It is possible that you were very early in your infection when your sample was collected and that you could test positive later. Or you could be exposed later and then develop illness. In other words, a negative test result does not mean you won’t get sick later. This means you could still spread the virus.

Get to the Root Cause of an Issue

Are you truly AWARE of your thoughts, your beliefs and your emotions? Having an awareness of these… that’s where the power to truly HEAL happens. That level of AWARENESS is what people discover all the time during our work together - inside my treatment room or during the classes I teach. It’s a powerful thing because it allows you to open up to getting to the ROOT cause of the issue and really being able to HEAL from it! Watch this short video to hear a story about a patient of mine who discovered this awareness just recently and how it was related to her back pain.
