Wish to Be Heard
at WP City Council?

City staff has made available an online form so members of the public can sign up to be heard at Council meetings. This will bring more order to the Public Invited to be Heard and Public Hearing segments of the Council meeting, particularly as we are hosting meetings on Zoom.

Staff will make available a list of names of folks wishing to be heard and the item on which they wish to speak to the Mayor prior to the starting of the meeting. The Mayor can then call the names of those who’ve signed up in the order in which they submitted their form.
If so desired, Council will still have the option of offering those who have not submitted a form to be heard after those who signed up have had the chance to speak.
