Keeping Families Close
#BrycesBattle
Joel, Andrea and Bryce Clausen
Earlier this month we received a very special visit from Bryce Clausen, his parents, Andrea and Joel, and a bus full of second graders from Fall Creek Elementary. They all arrived together to deliver more than one million pop tabs to our House in honor of #BrycesBattle.

When Joel and Andrea found out baby Bryce was facing a deadly diagnosis of Krabbe disease, they were determined to bring awareness to the disease and to help other families of sick children.

"The Ronald McDonald House was so good to us and we wanted to do something to give back. We had no idea we would have this kind of community support," said Joel.
Over the past several weeks the Clausens have been in the media as they have pushed for a change in Indiana law to expand newborn health screenings to include a check of Krabbe disease. Just last week "Bryce's Bill" was passed in the Indiana Senate and sent to Governor Eric Holcomb for signature into law.

"If we can save one baby by adding Krabbe disease to the newborn screening, that's all worth it to us that Bryce has a legacy and his life meant something," said Andrea.
Grateful Families
If only you could see — as we do — just what your support means to families with sick children. You'd see how your generosity lifts burdens and nourishes spirits every single day. Thank you for all you do and continue to do.
