Introducing the Western Massachusetts Housing Coalition—50+ organizations strong. Together they have identified a series of legislative priorities for Western Massachusetts that are tailored to address our area’s specific housing challenges. They presented these priorities to the Western Massachusetts legislative delegation, serving Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, and Hampshire counties. The conversation it inspired was robust, and they hope to have a similar presentation and discussion at a future date with Governor Maura Healey and Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll. There are 1,200 units in development as part of 51 projects in 18 Western Mass cities and towns. Learn more HERE.

Hunger to Health Collaboratory on Nov 16: Cross-sector approaches to health equity. Keynote with US Assistant Secretary for Health. Livestream available. INFO

It Takes a Village, a local nonprofit organization supporting postpartum families in Western MA, and Baystate Noble Hospital are working together to combat diaper needs within the Hilltowns. Baystate Noble Hospital generously donated 4,192 diapers, 520 packs of wipes, and 144 baby shampoos to It Takes a Village for distribution to local families at the Village Closet. These critical items will keep the youngest members of our community healthy and safe. Read MORE.
