"Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name." Psalm 100:4

Happy Thanksgiving! I wish you joy, peace, happiness, safety and good health for you and your loved ones this holiday season.

While we see communities safely reopen, this year may still feel different to many of us as we remain vigilant during the pandemic. I know my family is greatly missing my mother-in-law, Min Ja, who passed away last year from COVID-19. My heart is with anyone missing or unable to see a loved one today.

However, despite these unprecedented challenges, we continue to show that we are stronger when we come together as Americans. I am so inspired by the selflessness and sacrifices we have seen in our community, across the nation and around the world time and time again. I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

We remain grateful for our health care workers, innovators, essential workers, small business owners and everyone has who has sacrificed and shown resilience to help others and allow us to get back to normal.

I believe wholeheartedly that the United States continues to be the land of opportunity. That’s why my family came here from South Korea decades ago, and how someone like me can put myself through school, have a career, raise a family and now serve my community I’ve called home for decades in the House of Representatives.

I am thankful for all of our heroes who have served in our nation’s uniform, as well as their families, to preserve our nation’s freedoms and values we hold dear.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve California’s 39th District in Congress. This is not something I take lightly, and I am committed to doing all I can to use my voice to fight for you and ensure others can achieve their American dream.

As always, my team and I are here to serve you. If you ever need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to my office. I also encourage you to receive real-time updates on my work for you in Congress by following me on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram at @RepYoungKim.
Respectfully yours,
Young Kim
