Cox Volunteers Spark Curiosity and Connection

COX volunteers joined our afterschool STEAM Club for a hands-on session packed with electrical circuit builds, cryptography games, and real-world tech exploration.

🍎 Families Thrive Food Distribution Project Launches

We kicked off our Families Thrive initiative to provide weekly groceries and wellness resources for families affected by SNAP benefit disruptions—now through 2026.

💛Giving Back with Purpose: November Service Saturday

Project Accelerate girls partnered with Delta Zeta Psi to serve local elders through cleaning, crafts, and conversations—highlighting the joy of giving back across generations.

🌟 Creative Expression Through Paint Love

Students explored colorful materials and deep self-expression in our second Paint Love session—tapping into their imaginations and emotions through therapeutic art.

As we prepare to celebrate 50 years of Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta, we’re beginning the year with a moment of reflection, remembrance, and reconnection.


On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, we’ll gather to honor the story that started it all—and to center the themes that continue to guide us: community, wellness, and legacy.


✨ We’ll be premiering a special documentary and inviting you into the conversation as we launch a year of impact, celebration, and bold futures.

Families Thrive Food Distribution Project – December Update


This fall, Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta launched the Families Thrive Food Distribution Project to help ensure families in our programs—and the broader community—have consistent access to nutritious groceries. With weekly distributions supported by volunteers, this initiative is about more than food: it’s about dignity, connection, and making sure every family has what they need to thrive.


We’re continuing distributions through December, with upcoming dates to be announced shortly. Be sure to check your inbox and social media for our December schedule.

Scholarship Opportunities for Angel Tree Families


Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta is proud to partner with Prison Fellowship’s Angel Tree First Chance Network to provide scholarship support for youth who have a parent currently or previously incarcerated.


If your child qualifies, scholarships may be available to help cover the cost of the following programs:


Weekend S.T.E.A.M. Club

For girls in grades K–8, this Saturday program explores science, technology, engineering, art, and math through fun, hands-on projects that build creativity and confidence.


GLOW (Girls Leading Our World)

Designed for girls in grades 6–8, GLOW builds leadership, sisterhood, and personal development through interactive workshops and mentorship.


Summer Camps

Our full-day summer experiences offer themed weekly sessions that include enrichment activities, field trips, STEAM learning, movement, and sisterhood-building in a supportive environment.


Afterschool Programs

Available at our Marietta Center, as well as on-site at KIPP WAYS and KIPP Vision, our afterschool programs support girls in grades K–8 with academic help, enrichment activities, leadership development, and social-emotional learning.
