I’ve been pondering the year behind me and preparing for 2023. As I think about the challenges and successes of the past year, my overall feeling is one of gratitude.
I am grateful for our clients, our colleagues, and our team. This past year was a year of regrouping and renewal for NetSpeed Learning. Some long-term employees moved on to new opportunities while a few other talented folks joined our team. We had some wonderful projects this year that allowed us to support clients who are developing their online facilitators and producers to succeed in the virtual and hybrid learning environments. We also developed the skills of virtual leaders who are building mastery in the hybrid workplace. I’m delighted that several clients are delivering NetSpeed Leadership® for their first-level leaders, and that we helped redesign some great programs for engaging delivery in the virtual classroom.
I’m so thankful for these opportunities to be of service and leverage our experience to support our clients. I’m also grateful for a support group of fellow training company owners that meets regularly to explore the challenges we are facing. And I am grateful that I’ve been able to speak again at in-person conferences as well as online web events. I love the opportunity to share my thoughts and opinions with like-minded people, especially when we can be in the same room together!
On the personal side, I’m grateful that both our daughters are graduating from college in the spring. Whew! They made it despite the challenges of studying from home for a year during the pandemic. Like many people, our family had a bout with COVID-19 in 2022 and I’m grateful that there were treatments to help us recover completely.
In a year of continuous change, gratitude carries the day! What are you grateful for?
