Dear JAINA Community,
Jai Jinendra,
I extend my heartfelt appreciation to each member of our esteemed JAINA community for your unwavering support and trust in the newly elected JAINA Executive Committee for the 2024-2025 term. On behalf of the entire committee and the Board of Directors, I wish you a year ahead filled with happiness, good health, and spiritual upliftment.
With a legacy spanning over 40 years, JAINA has played a pivotal role in the North American and global Jain community. We are committed to preserving and building upon this legacy, crafting a roadmap for the next two decades by actively engaging our vibrant and diverse community. Our pledge is to establish a transparent, responsive, and equitable organization that the North American Jain community not only deserves but can also take pride in.
Recognizing the evolving demographic of JAINA, we believe it is crucial to incorporate domestic initiatives that resonate with the younger generations. Our aim is to align and actively involve them in our initiatives, ensuring the continued growth and relevance of JAINA.
JAINA operates as a committee organization, where dedicated and subject matter expert volunteers contribute to community service. In line with this, the Executive Committee is currently evaluating the makeup of all committees to ensure they align with our vision.
In the coming weeks, members of the JAINA community will be visiting India to review projects and activities aligned with our mission. The events planned during this visit are listed below for your reference.
The new Executive Committee is eager and dedicated to serving the North American Jain community. I want to take a moment to express gratitude to the outgoing Executive Committee members for their dedication and commitment to the cause. Look out for the 2024 JAINA events list in various North American regions, providing ample opportunities for your participation and, importantly, your valuable feedback. Please feel free to reach out to me at President@Jaina.org with any thoughts or suggestions.
Sincerely,
Bindesh Shah
JAINA President
