THIS WEEK'S TALK BY

REV. DENISE YEARGIN & GREGORY FISHER

"Living an Abundant Life"

This is not your Grandmother’s Thanksgiving Service

Every moment is an opportunity to be grateful. Join Gregory and Denise as they take you on a journey beyond the surface of material wealth into the heart of true abundance.

Rev. Denise Yeargin is a retired Ordained Unity Minister who continues to minister through speaking and writing and occasional individual virtual sessions. "Rev. D" (as many still call her) has grown to love Center for Spiritual Living Nashville and often tunes in to our Sunday services online.

A Native Nashvillian, Denise has over the last few years co-created a home with her life partner Judy Blackwelder in Savannah, TN on the Tennessee River. They call their estate Harmony Haven – as they are learning to live in communion with the earth and all her relations. Denise’s greatest love continues to be studying, teaching, and sharing Universal Principle.

Gregory Fisher became a licensed Science of Mind practitioner in 2001 and an ordained minister through the Universal Brotherhood Movement in 2009. He holds bachelor’s degrees in both communication and divinity, and a master’s degree in social work. Learn more at gregoryfisher.life.

Joint Service with Unity and Potluck to Celebrate Thanksgiving on Sunday, November 24

It is CSLN's tradition to celebrate Thanksgiving with a potluck following our service on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Turkey and dressing will be provided with the rest of the fixings as a potluck. There will be a Community Dialogue Meeting Thursday December 5th at 6:30 p.m. via ZOOM (use the monthly Board Zoom invite on our Website) to discuss the Board’s proposal to take our Bylaws back to the CSL Form Bylaws which includes the update that any changes to the Bylaws must be approved by the Community. These updates were sent out to all members on October 31st. After this Community meeting, we propose to send out a request to vote on these updates via Survey Monkey on December 16th.

CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

Creating our Beloved Community!

Join Rev Cath DePalma via Zoom as we read and discuss Jim Lockard’s visionary book: Creating the Beloved Community: A Handbook for Spiritual Leadership.

Creating The Beloved Community is about the qualities, attitudes, and practices that are needed to manifest the kind of world envisioned by Howard Thurman and Dr. Martin Luther King. Jr., a world of peace and harmony. The book speaks of the leadership qualities needed to create such a beloved community, including cultural evolutionary awareness, presencing, and psychological awareness of our own and others' development. Join Rev Cath as we continue our conversations about creating a Beloved Community!

SPIRITUAL MIND TREATMENT

 Laura Landress, RScP

Abundance is Mine

I know there is one, infinite intelligence and all-powerful mind and life of God. This life of God and this power and intelligence express through me and we are one. The will of God is always good, infinite and forever expanding. Therefore, my life is forever expanding and I choose and direct the power of God within me to express as abundance in all good things. I experience abundance in all areas of my life, income, friends, purpose, harmony and love. I choose freedom of movement and have plenty of income to go all the places I want to go and do all the things I want to do. Abundance is mine and I give great thanks for this knowing. I release this my word knowing it is true because God makes it so, and So It Is!
