Few experiences place greater strain on a family’s emotional, financial and spiritual resources than traveling far from home for medical care. When a loved one is sick or injured, having family close can make all the difference.
Thirteen years ago, a collective vision among Bon Secours clinical and administrative leaders, the Bon Secours Foundation, passionate donors and the Reinhart family became a reality. On June 9, 2014, the Evelyn D. Reinhart Guest House welcomed its first guest, replacing four small cottages on Maple Avenue and more than doubling the capacity to provide families a true home away from home.
Today, more than 15,000 guests have found comfort, community and connection at the Guest House. Along the way, hundreds of donors, volunteers, community partners and Bon Secours caregivers have shown up with meals, resources, prayers and loving hands—helping families feel less alone during some of life’s most difficult moments.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who has helped make this mission possible—and to every family who has allowed us to be part of their journey.
For 13 years, the Evelyn D. Reinhart Guest House has shown that Good Help feels like home.
