BID Convenes Large Retailers

Last week, the Downtown Boston BID convened a neighborhood safety summit, with a focus on our district's status as Boston's traditional shopping center. Attendees--including the Boston Police Department, MBTA Transit Police, City Councilor Ed Flynn, BID staff, and several large Downtown retailers--shared public-safety best practices. They also conducted in-depth conversations identifying potential partnerships, and opportunities for collaboration, within the community, and highlighted enhanced communications strategies for the neighborhood.
