September 2024 Giving

Our September Community Wishes/Dress Down Donation went to Credit Union for Kids, benefiting Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

"A cooperative network of credit unions that support nonprofit children's hospitals in the U.S."

We're always there for our members and our community. Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids), which benefits Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals), allows us to show how much we care about our members' financial health and the wellness of families in our community.

Thousands of credit unions across the United States have supported CMN Hospitals since 1996. It is a simple way to help children's hospitals locally through CMN Hospitals. Our September donation supported our local Oshei Children's Hospital of Buffalo, NY.

This year marks the 76th anniversary of International Credit Union Day®. ICU Day highlights the many ways that credit unions across the world help members work towards achieving their financial goals. Credit unions were built on the principle of “people helping people.” We’ve seen that philosophy in action for more

than 100 years, with credit unions providing access to affordable financial products and striving to meet the needs of underserved communities. Great Erie is honored to be a part of this proud tradition.

We invite both members and nonmembers to visit our Orchard Park/East Aurora branches and celebrate this day with tasty treats, giveaways & prize raffles. International Credit Union Day is brought to you by the World Council of Credit Unions.
