Ascension Charity Golf Classic Supports BGCSTL Kids!
|
|
The inaugural three day, 54-hole Ascension Charity Classic was last month and raised $800,000 for their charity partners including us (Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis), Marygrove and the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis! Ascension Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing & Communications Officer Nick Ragone said corporate partnerships and record-setting attendance helped the professional golf tournament blow past its initial projections for this year’s charitable contributions. He said tournament organizers expected $500,000 in donations. As a charity partner, our kids also received tennis shoes courtesy of Skechers, snacks from Nature’s Valley and several large screen TVs for our Club locations! Thanks to all of the sponsors and partners for supporting the Great Futures of Boys & Girls Clubs kids and teens!
