I once knew a guy who’d reached his limit. How he got to that point, I can’t say. I just knew that he knew he was done with the way things were. So, it’s no surprise he packed his bags, bought an open-ended ticket and checked out of the status quo the moment he checked in for his flight.

Early into the trip, his bags came to a similar conclusion and caught a different connection. Even so, the romantic in me hopes that my buddy and his luggage found each other once again. After all, they were headed for the same destination, and who says Parts Unknown can’t be at least two places at once?
