Season of Giving Spotlight: Service League Awards Community Grant to Support UWOC

The annual Toy Coffee, sponsored by The Service League of Orange, brings our community together to support local families through donated toys and monetary gifts—100% of which benefit the Salvation Army. This year’s event also featured the presentation of Community Grants from The Service League. United Way of Orange County was honored to be selected as one of the recipients. Our request focused on securing reliable technology to support a new team member and enhance our ability to work efficiently both in the office and at onsite events. We are grateful for the Service League’s investment in our mission and their continued commitment to strengthening our community.

United Way of Orange County is excited to partner with Orange County Audiology & Hearing Aids and ReSound for this year’s Gift of Hearing Giveaway!

We’re making a bigger impact than ever — three deserving individuals in our community will receive high-end hearing aids at no cost.

Do you know someone who has fallen on hard times and would benefit from improved hearing? We’d love to hear their story!

Submit your nomination by January 9, 2026, to: 📧 ocaudiologytx@gmail.com

Please include:

Nominee’s name, phone number, and city (or full address if known)
Your name and relationship to the nominee
A brief description of their hearing difficulties
Why they would benefit from new hearing aids
Any challenges they’re currently facing (financial, medical, job loss, etc.)
Whether they currently wear hearing aids
Any additional details that help tell their story

Let’s come together to bring the gift of hearing and connection to those who need it most.

Letter Of Intent For 2027 Grant Funding Now Open

Agencies interested in becoming a United Way of Orange County Partner Agency must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) during the next application window, December 1–15, 2025. This LOI is required for new agencies only. Existing Partner Agencies do not need to submit an additional LOI.

The LOI communicates your interest in applying for 2027 grant funding, but please note that submission does not guarantee funding.

All LOIs must be completed online and submitted no later than December 15, 2025.

Come get in the holiday spirit with UWOC by helping sort toys for Angel Tree kids at The Salvation Army. Shirts will be available for pick-up at the UWOC office (1506 Park Avenue Orange, TX 77630) the week of the event (December 8th-12th). Contact Kristin Evans prior to pick-up to schedule a time at 409-883-3591. Breakfast/snacks and water will be provided. Register online.
