Join us on the Farmworker Caravan on Saturday, August 7th where we will bring donations to the workers in Watsonville where apples, fresh flowers, cauliflower, broccoli, artichokes and of course the best strawberries in the world are grown!

We got an amazing donation of 42 pallets of household products thanks to the efforts of Denise & Vincent Palleta! Because of this we will need lots of people to come and fill up their vehicles with donations for last 3 Farmworker Caravans planned for this year:

Thanks to Dylan Wooten-Kincart of SignGypsies South Bay for jumping in to sponsor our first Farmworker Friday! Dylan is a wonderfully dedicated volunteer who has missed a couple of caravans because she has been busy running around in the middle of the night popping up festive lawn signs for grads, dads and newlyweds. But she has not forgotten the farmworkers and offered to sponsor a Farmworker Friday where we treat a crew of workers for lunch.

Hunger at Home has been an amazing supporter of the Farmworker Caravan bringing thousands of boxes of fresh produce, dry goods and pre-made meals on our runs. They have helped to support 36 agencies including ourselves to feed over 6 million meals just this past year. Amazing, right?
