Clean water for God's thirsty children
Water With Blessings for the Navajo Nation
An amateur mural over a dry water hole emphasizes the importance of our work in the Navajo Nation.
Gertrud Mueller Nelson designed and illustrated our new training manuals for use in the Navajo Nation.
It gives us great joy to report that our first partners are preparing to move forward with distribution of Sawyer PointONE filters for Navajo families who are water insecure.  Defend Our Community  is a grassroots Navajo organization that serves elders in the Leupp Arizona Chapter, bringing them desperately needed support in this time of pandemic.

DOC is partnering with Water With Blessings to train and equip the first 60 Navajo families, in accord with our protocol. We’re so impressed with this organization – their passion for their people, their dedication, and their very high standards for accountability. It is our honor to work with this tremendous team, who are truly a credit to their people.

We owe special honor to Roger Willie, our Partnership Lead for this project, and his wife Teresa. Roger was the lead designer for our new Navajo project training manual and an information brochure. Their wisdom and insight have been invaluable. We will continue to look to them for guidance as we move forward.
Very special thanks must be given to noted illustrator/author Gertrud Mueller Nelson , who contributed her artistic talents and many personal hours, both in creating the illustrations and guiding the layout design of the manuals, along with a lovely prayer that concludes the book. We’re proud to say that our Navajo Program Manual is our most beautiful manual yet! For each family that receives a filter, a family leader (usually the mother) will be trained by Navajo trainers who are WWB certified, using the manual in a picture book format.
We send our warm thanks to all who have shared their wisdom and brought us to this point. That begins with representatives of the Navajo Nation administration, but also includes representatives of a variety of churches and organizations. We appreciate your patience and perspective, especially as you have grappled with a host of needs in the pandemic storm. Please know that our staff and prayer partners have prayed for you and all the Navajo Nation each morning at Water With Blessings.
Getting Back to Work in Haiti
Our Haiti Village to Village Project team is back in the field, training 300 new Water Women in their first week of work. Please pray for the next group that will begin work today, July 26, and hope to train another 300. This is wonderful progress, but we are still only working at 50% of our normal rate as the coronavirus pandemic continues to hamper our efforts. We are taking every precaution possible to keep everyone, our teams and those they serve, healthy.

Did you know you can get a report for exactly where your donation was applied in Haiti? Even see the name and photo of the mothers you've sponsored? That even gives you the spiritual opportunity to become her Prayer Partner . If you're interested, please email and she will set you up to find that information in our interactive donor map at our website. God bless you for your generosity.
In the midst of all the challenges facing us today, we are so very grateful for your continuing sacrifices and support for Water Women around the world. Your prayerful gifts are saving lives in the United States and around the world, because those without clean water are most susceptible to all disease, not just the coronavirus.

To date, our generous donors have provided funds for over 650 Navajo families to receive a lifetime Sawyer PointONE water filter and the training to go along with it. The need is much greater, but together, so much more is possible! Our Navajo partner lead Roger Willie often reminds us: “Big problems require BIG solutions” -- and that’s our vision for Water With Blessings in collaboration with the Navajo Nation.

Please consider helping us again. And if you don't mind, please pass this email on to a friend who might want to join you in providing clean water to God's thirsty children.
