Expiration Date Extensions
You are receiving this notice because your program's Great Start to Quality valid until date (expiration date) currently falls between July 1 and November 30. Because of the system upgrade taking place, your program's valid until date will be extended by four (4) months.  The change to your expiration date will take place this Wednesday, June 19.

For example:

If your program's current valid until date is August 17, it will be changed to December 17.

This will allow your program time to access the updated system, which will be in place October 1, to start the Re-Rating process.

In order to prepare for the Re-Rating process, once the updated system is in place, there may be action needed by your program. Programs and providers must have an Organization Profile in MiRegsitry. To prepare to participate in Great Start to Quality beginning in October, please read the following bulleted information about how to receive a new published rating:
  • Program administration must create a free Individual Account or log into your already existing account in
  • Program administrator must create a free Organization Profile for the licensed program(s) they administer.
  • Programs, providers and all staff, in addition to program administrators, must create Individual Accounts, become members of MiRegistry (which includes uploading proof of professional development taken outside of MiRegistry) and connect to their program's Organization Profile (licensed program they work for by indicating their employment in the Employment Tab).
