We are pleased to welcome Shaniqua Crawford as the newest member of the Fit Oshkosh Board of Directors.

After meeting Tracey and learning about Fit Oshkosh, Shaniqua joined the board. She believes that this is important work and is pleased that she can be of service and give back to the Oshkosh community.

“The work that Fit is doing is going to change the community,” she says. “I support the mission completely. Now is the time to do this work. It is necessary.”

Shaniqua is a Deputy Title IX Coordinator in the Office of Equal Opportunity and Access at UW Oshkosh. Title IX is a federal law that prohibits discrimination based on sex in education programs, including sexual violence and harassment. She conducts investigations into allegations of discrimination, sexual and other harassment and sexual assault on campus.

She is originally from Columbus, GA., and has a bachelor’s degree in history and philosophy from Georgia Southern University and a law degree from Ohio Northern University Petite College of Law in Ada, Ohio.
