For the  parents and families of St. Therese Chinese Catholic School

Dear Parents,

Happy New Year! As we return to school, we have many events ahead to look forward to. Our major event, the Chinese New Year Benefit, will be on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at 5:30pm at Furama South Restaurant. There will be many great student performances, good food, and an opportunity for our school community to celebrate the Year of the Pig! Be sure to purchase your tickets in the main office as this events sells out fast. Ticket registration forms, along with sponsorship, advertiser, and silent auction donation forms were sent home last Friday.

Renew My Church will announce the decision regarding the four remaining parishes this Saturday, January 19, 2019, at St. Barbara Church at 6:30 pm. All are welcome to attend this meeting. More information will be distributed once the announcement has been made. Please continue to pray for our school and parish communities.

Information will be going home soon regarding the National Catholic Educators Association convention days on April 23rd and 24th in Chicago. All Chicagoland Catholic school teachers and staff are in attendance. As a result, SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED on April 23rd and 24th. However, these days will be Online Learning Days where a student works from home. Students will be accessing their teachers' pages on the school website and completing the lessons posted. All homework will have a due date which needs to be followed in order for their work to be credited. More detailed information to follow.

Best,

Ms. Lisa Deborah Oi
Principal
