For the  parents and families of St. Therese Chinese Catholic School

Dear Parents,

As we slowly thaw from last week, our students have been busy celebrating Catholic Schools Week, the Lunar New Year, participating in Spelling Bees and Geography Bees, and competing on our sports teams. We are so proud of all our students!

Our CNY Benefit on February 23 is right around the corner. We are almost sold out! If you are interested in attending our festive and fun dinner, please see Mrs. Chan by Monday, February 11th!

We are holding a series of "Coffee with the Principal" and informal tours for prospective families and current St. Barbara School families. These will be an opportunity for parents to learn more about St. Therese program and about the transition to two campuses next year.
  • Tuesday, February 12th at 8:15am at St. Barbara School.
  • Tuesday, February  19th at 9:00am at St. Therese School. All are invited to 8am mass at St. Therese Church beforehand.
  • Wednesday, February 27th at 6:00pm at St. Barbara School.

If you know a family who may be interested in attending St. Therese at the St. Barbara Campus, please share this information with them.

I look forward to seeing everyone this Sunday for the annual New Year Parade! Students should meet in the school basement by 12pm. Students in grades 1-8 will return to the school and can be picked up in the school yard at 1:20pm.

We will let you know as soon as we do if there will be adjustments to the school calendar. The SY 2019-20 calendar is in progress. We will distribute key dates shortly.

May you all have a prosperous and healthy Year of the Pig!

Best,
Ms. Oi
Principal

St. Therese Celebrates Catholic Schools Week

Despite being extended into two weeks due to the polar vortex, our students and staff celebrated the special experience of a Catholic education with Spelling and Geography Bees, Curriculum Fair presentations,  handwriting competitions, our annual book fair, sports, and more! We also found time to celebrate the Lunar New Year! Enjoy these highlights - more photos are on our school photo gallery.
