UNUSUAL CONVOCATION FOR THE SPRING 2024 GRADUATING CLASS

The recent Goddard School of Business & Economics Convocation marked a lot of firsts. It took place on a Saturday and in the Dee Events Center, both outside the norm. Historically, our ceremonies have been held on Fridays in the Browning Center. The changes to the convocation allowed us to accommodate all 1800 guests and 156 graduates. And although convocation day turned out to be an extremely rainy one, it was a fantastic afternoon, and all enjoyed the opportunity to celebrate our graduates and their many outstanding accomplishments.

Congratulations, class of 2024!

GODDARD STUDENT AMBASSADORS LAUNCHED

The Goddard Student Ambassador team, under the leadership of Preston West (President), Mia Foster (Vice President), and newly-appointed Vice President Nolan Thurston officially launched and successfully operated during the 2023-24 school year. They began their duties during Fall semester and have already represented the Goddard School at high school events (at Weber High School, Fremont High School, and Ogden High School), at various WSU events, and handled the day-of functions at our WeberBiz Case Competition in November. This team has proven very effective and beneficial to our college, and we are excited to see the great things they will do in the future.

WSUSA ELECTIONS

In the recent WSUSA (Weber State University Student Association) Elections, six Goddard students were elected to office for the 2024-25 academic year!
