President's Message
Dear Friends,
Happy New Year Chapter Members! Let me start by saying how honored and excited I am to be serving as your 2023 AFP Greater Dallas President! My fellow board members and I look forward to meeting and connecting with you all this year through our monthly education programs, DFW Philanthropy Conference, National Philanthropy Day, and so much more.

With end of year campaigns now behind us, we're ready to face 2023 and the ups and downs that will inevitably come. If anything, the last few years have taught us to expect the unexpected and accept that there's a lot in this world outside of our control. But as fundraisers, we're responsive, we're resourceful, and we're resilient. Thank you for all that you do to support the wonderful nonprofits working to make the Greater Dallas area the best place to work. live, and play.

New this year, our monthly luncheon programs will be held in-person at Maggiano's NorthPark. Akilah Wallace, VP Development at Big Thought, will be speaking on "New Year, New Strategies for Deeper, Authentic Partnerships." Register online now. This month only, we're also offering a discounted, one-time registration for all luncheon programs in 2023. Learn more here.
Wishing all the best for 2023,
Emily Kettlewell, CFRE
President, Greater Dallas AFP
