President's Message

Wishing You a Joyful Start to the New Year

Dear Members,

I hope this message finds you refreshed and rejuvenated from the holiday season. Whether you spent time celebrating with family, connecting with friends, or simply finding moments of peace, I trust your holidays were filled with joy and meaning.

As we step into a new year, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for being part of our association’s community. Your dedication, collaboration, and support have been the foundation of our shared successes, and I am incredibly excited about what lies ahead.

The new year brings new opportunities to grow, learn, and work together toward our shared goals. It’s a chance to build on our accomplishments, explore innovative ideas, and continue strengthening the bonds that unite us. I look forward to collaborating with each of you to make 2025 a year of progress, impact, and success.

Thank you for all you do to contribute to our collective mission. Here’s to a year filled with purpose, connection, and achievement!

Warmest regards,

Manuel Mesa

Mentorship: Pathway To Career Advancement & Professional Fulfillment

Are you new to fundraising or in a new fundraising role? Are you a fundraising team leader seeking solutions for retaining excellent performers and up-and-comers, or a CEO new to fundraising accountability? Would you value a trusted and more experienced leader (other than your boss) as a sounding board? Milton Key and Diana Kao, CFRE, CAP, who were matched through the Greater Dallas Chapter's mentor program in 2019, will discuss their motivations and mindsets for prioritizing mentorship and share what has made their mentor-mentee journey work.
