Dear Friends,
"Integrity: The choice between what’s convenient and what’s right." - Tony Dungy, Uncommon
I am so proud of our Greater Dallas AFP Board of Directors. They live up to this statement every single day, not only in their volunteer work, but in their day-to-day positions at different nonprofits across the metro area. I am getting to see this integrity play out over many different opportunities. In the next few weeks, you will notice changes in everything from NPD to our monthly meetings. Not big changes, just the right ones. If you have ever considered serving with AFP locally, now is a great time for you to jump into leadership with the chapter. I want you to have the opportunity to be inspired just as I am, work with these people of integrity. Soon, Shawn Wills will be reaching out to put together the 2022 board. Please consider saying "yes" and help us continue to make these important changes to our Greater Dallas AFP Chapter.
Paul Dunne, CFRE

2021 Chamberlain Scholar Update
|
|
Dear Fellow Chapter Members,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank the Greater Dallas Chapter AFP for its support of my scholarship application to attend AFP ICON. It was awesome and I learned a great deal that I will be able to implement in my practice.
I tried to take advantage of everything and make you proud. I caught our chapter president Paul Dunne's video-on-demand presentation, got all six badges, and even made #4 on the Leader Board based on chat participation and all-round activity. Not bad for a rookie CFRE and my first AFP ICON!
