Most shops (large or small) think they have a strong pipeline funnel that results in major and planned gifts. This presentation focuses on what a pipeline funnel template looks like, what fundraising tools comprise the funnel, the most effective tools in the funnel, and the cost effectiveness of each part of the funnel. If you would like to improve the effectiveness of your pipeline funnel, this presentation is for you!

President's Message

Dear Friends and Fellow Fundraisers,
Sarah Elliott headshot

March is a very busy time of year for fundraising executives and for AFP! Here's what's new:

First, I am extremely proud to announce that AFP Dallas has, once again, earned the coveted Ten Star and Friend of Diversity designations from AFP International. This means that our Dallas Chapter is seen as a leader in carrying out AFP's strategic objectives, and that we are committed to creating a more diverse, inclusive organization.

Next, registration is open for the DFW Philanthropy in Action Conference. You won't want to miss the nationally-renowned Billion-Dollar ASK-Maker,  Laura Fredricks or the inspirational fan fave, Justin Maust. This conference is local and affordable, but our programming is world class. Want to attend but don't have the budget? Scholarships are available, apply today!

Finally, William Bryant, our National Philanthropy Day Chair, is hard at work on this year's November 9th luncheon. Want to help make a difference? Nominate an outstanding philanthropist, volunteer or foundation for an award. Our new nomination process is easier than ever (thanks to the NPD Selection Committee). Nominate someone special today. The deadline is April 16th.

Until then, I look forward to seeing you at our next program luncheon on March 28th.

Sarah Elliott, President
