As we move through June, I want to thank you for your ongoing engagement and support. This week has brought meaningful conversations, important announcements, and valuable opportunities for the community to connect.
On Monday, we were pleased to host Debi Durham, Director of the Iowa Economic Development Authority and Iowa Finance Authority, at our Member Meet & Eat event. Debi shared insights about Fort Dodge’s growing recognition as a leader in collaboration and economic progress. We appreciate all who attended and contributed to this important discussion.
Registration is now open for our Annual Golf Outing, scheduled for Wednesday, September 4. This event remains one of our most anticipated opportunities to network and build relationships within the community. We encourage you to register your team soon to ensure your spot.
Looking ahead, the Leading Ladies Luncheon will take place on September 26. We are excited to welcome Afton Holt as our keynote speaker. Her inspiring story of leadership and resilience is sure to motivate and resonate. Tickets are available now, and we encourage you to secure yours early.
Also this week, a new episode of The Alliance Connection podcast was released. Katy and I had the pleasure of speaking with Julie Thorson, President and CEO, and Jen Lane, Director of Engagement of Friendship Haven. Our conversation covered the organization’s 75-year history, their upcoming Legacy Week June 25th-June 29th, and the impact they continue to have on our community.
Thank you for your continued commitment to strengthening Fort Dodge and the surrounding region. I look forward to seeing many of you at upcoming events and continuing to work together to elevate our community.
Warm regards,
