CEO's Corner

Episode 6 of The Alliance Connection is live, and we had the pleasure of sitting down with George Berger from FORCE America. George shares valuable insight into the company’s journey, the importance of community connections, and why Fort Dodge continues to be a great place to grow. If you haven’t tuned in yet, I encourage you to give it a listen.

Looking ahead, we have a couple of events I’m especially excited about—and I hope you’ll join us:

On June 16th, we’ll host our next Member Meet & Eat featuring Director Debi Durham, a longtime advocate for Iowa’s economic growth and innovation. It’s a great chance to connect and hear updates straight from the top.

July 1st, we’ll gather for Leading Ladies with the incredible Afton Holt. In her authentic and uplifting keynote, Afton will share how setbacks, self-doubt, and chaos might just be signs you’re headed in the right direction. With humor and heart, she’ll help us reframe the “messy middle” and walk away with fresh perspective and motivation to keep moving forward.

Party For Al's Pavilion

Free Vision Exams

In partnership with Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation, Prevent Blindness Iowa, OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation, and Community Health Center of Fort Dodge, a free two-day vision clinic will be held at Butler Elementary School in June.

This event will provide free eye exams and glasses to adults and children who may not otherwise have access to vision care.

The 2025 Fort Dodge Farmers Market starts 📅Saturday, June 14th beginning at 9AM until 1PM. The next Market will be Wednesday, June 18th from 1:00-5:30. We will continue these days and times (Saturdays and Wednesdays) until mid October.

There will be many of your favorite returning vendors plus a good amount of new vendors.
