ServSafe Food Safety Training

Certification for foodservice Managers and workers. Lots of topics to help provide safe food in the workplace will be covered. This training meets Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) requirements. A photo ID is required to take the certification exam.

With the holidays approaching, AFES Community Christmas🎄 is looking for assistance in our goal to make sure at least 400 children in the community have a few toys, outfits, along with food and hygiene products for the holiday. Coats for Kids Program

We’re collecting new and gently used coats for children of all sizes, from babies to high school students. We partner with local schools, and hold a public distribution day to ensure that these coats reach students in need in our community. You can help by donating coats or making a monetary contribution. Together, we can keep our kids warm this winter!

Drop off coat donations to:

Holly Jolly Christmas Tree Project

With the holidays again quickly approaching, and the success of our project last year, we have decided that we will be doing The Holly Jolly Christmas Tree Project FD Edition Year 2024! Last year, we were successfully able to provide 72 FULL Christmas tree kits to families in our community! WOW!! What a success!!!

This year, we are going to be working with individuals in Spencer Iowa who were impacted by the flood and work on donating a portion of our tree kits to the elementary schools in that area that know of families who lost everything in the flood to hopefully bring some Christmas cheer to those little people!!
