• The Orlando Pride defeated San Diego Wave FC 2-1 at Inter&Co Stadium on Saturday night to continue its undefeated streak for the 2025 season. The Pride (3-0-0, 9 points) have started the regular season with three straight wins, marking the first time in Club history they have done so. The Pride will now hit the road following an international break and take on Seattle Reign FC on Saturday, April 12 at 7:30pm.
• Orlando City SC defeated the LA Galaxy 2-1 on Saturday night at Dignity Health Sports Park thanks to two unanswered goals in the second half. The win serves as the Lions' (3-2-1, 10 points) first road win of the season, and the team is now unbeaten in its last three matches. Orlando City will continue its road trip and face the Philadelphia Union this Saturday, April 5 at 7:30pm.
• Orlando Magic forwards Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner made history Tuesday night as they each scored 20+ points for the ninth consecutive game, setting the longest streak by an Orlando duo. The record was previously held by Shaquille O'Neal and Penny Hardaway, who each scored 20+ across eight straight games in December of 1994.
• The Orlando Solar Bears earned a 4-3 overtime victory in Atlanta last week to clinch the final playoff spot in the South Division. After just an 8-game month of March, the Solar Bears (35-22-10) will play six games in 13 days to finish the regular season. The next game will take place this Sunday, April 6 at 6:00pm against the Savannah Ghost Pirates at Kia Center.
• UCF men's basketball defeated Oregon State 76-75 in Las Vegas Tuesday night to capture its first win in the inaugural College Basketball Crown. The short-handed Knights were led by Nils Machowski, who delivered a career-high 15 points at MGM Grand Garden Arena. UCF will now face Cincinnati in the quarterfinals match TONIGHT, April 3 at 6:30pm.
• Osceola Magic head coach Dylan Murphy has been named NBA G League Coach of the Month for the first time in his career. The team ended February in sixth place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 11-9 before the group went 11-3 in March to finish 22-12, clinch the No. 1 seed and receive home-court advantage in the postseason for the second consecutive season.

• Universal Orlando is bringing Epic Universe on the road and giving fans an early glimpse at its new theme park set to open this spring. The National Epic Universe Portal Tour will make stops at four major cities ahead of the park's official opening on Thursday, May 22. The traveling experience will feature a 30-foot-tall replica of Chronos, the portal that will serve as the entryway to Epic Universe and its five themed lands.
• The Orange County Clerk of Courts has decided to expand its "Self Help" legal assistance program to its newly opened courthouse in Winter Park. Orange County Clerk Tiffany Moore Russell opened the county's first Self Help Center in 2015 at the main courthouse in downtown Orlando. As a partnership with the Orange County Bar Association, the program offers professional attorney consultations and other legal services for $1 a minute.
• Winter Park restaurant Ômo by Jônt has been named the only Florida finalist for Best New Restaurant in the 2025 James Beard Awards. The recognition, considered one of the culinary world's highest honors, would celebrate Ômo by Jônt's innovative approach to fine dining. The restaurant is currently led by Michelin-honored Chef Ryan Ratino.
• Orange County Commissioners have voted unanimously to provide $500,000 for a development and environmental study for the shared rail corridor, which will be used by commuter rail SunRail and the Brightline intercity rail service. The corridor would have stops at Orlando International Airport, near the Orange County Convention Center and near South International Drive. It also would allow Brightline to expand to Tampa through a route along Interstate 4.
• The Orlando City Commission has unanimously approved to repurpose two charter-style buses into mobile homeless shelters. Under the plan, the city will purchase two buses for $175,000 apiece, which will be operated by the Christian Service Center. The buses are planned to sleep 39 people per night, with the Christian Service Center planning for all overnight guests to work with a case manager for more permanent housing.
• Spanish airline Iberia plans to add four weekly flights to Orlando International Airport (MCO) on Oct. 26 as a part of winter seasonal service, according to Orlando Business Journal. Iberia reaches more than 140 cities in Europe, the Americas, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. The newly announced flight will be its first out of Orlando International Airport.

• Universal Orlando is now offering select Express Pass and VIP Tour ticket options for Epic Universe, its theme park set to open on May 22 of this year. There are levels of the Express Pass, which can allow access to Epic, Islands of Adventure and/or Universal Studios theme park for different numbers of days. Pricing for a one-day Express Pass to Epic Universe starts at $129.99, allowing visitors to skip the regular line once per ride or attraction.
• Walt Disney World has announced both of its water parks will be open to guests at the same time for the first time since the COVID-19 era began. The resort's Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon will be available to the public starting May 21, the Wednesday before Memorial Day. Both water parks feature slides, wave pools, lazy rivers, splash pads and other watery attractions alongside food and beverage offerings.
• Aquatica, SeaWorld Orlando's water park, is gearing up for its springtime event named "Aloha to Summer Celebration." The programming will include sand-castle artists, a family-friendly dance party and games such as cornhole and ring toss (with prizes), all preceded by a welcome celebration with leis and tropical punch. The festivities, included with regular Aquatica admission, will be available on Saturdays and Sundays through Sunday, May 11.
• The Sideline Wine & Dine presented by OAI + Rainier returns to Camping World Stadium this Saturday, April 4 at 7:00pm. The event proceeds support the Florida Citrus Sports Foundation's efforts in funding summer camp experiences for kids registered for the Bradley-Otis Boys & Girls Club's annual programs in Orlando's West Lakes community.
• The Orlando Boat Show returns to the Orange County Convention Center this weekend, April 4-6. With nearly 600 boats on display and 30 marine industry exhibitors, the Orlando Boat Show is for boating enthusiasts of all levels. Kids aged 12 & under can enter for free and will have the opportunity to catch a live fish at the Trout Pond!
• The 36th annual Spring Fiesta in the Park returns to downtown Orlando this weekend, April 5-6 from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Guests can stroll around Lake Eola while browsing hundreds of unique artist and crafter booths, food vendors, the AdventHealth for Children's Kid Zone and more. Live entertainment will be featured on the Amphitheater stage all weekend long, and admission is FREE!
