"Greatness grows when you give" is much more than a slogan. Your generous donations are the seeds of support that help us provide programming throughout the state of Connecticut, both virtually and in-person.
Help us continue the tradition of caring through supporting our KHAIR and Cooking Matters programs which impact more than 1,000 families, students and individuals throughout the state each year.

About our programs...
KHAIR (pronounced "care") serves at-risk youth by offering one-on-one mentoring relationships and a range of workshops designed to teach important life skills and bolster self-confidence. Participants, who are referred by behavioral health professionals, are asked to commit to six workshops designed to nurture confidence and build relationships. To date, nearly 200 teens have graduated from the KHAIR program.
Cooking Matters Connecticut works to ensure children and parents with lower incomes learn to shop, prepare, and eat healthy foods on a limited budget.
Cooking Matters has:
- served more than 1,000 people in 2020
- helped more than 10,000 individuals since its inception in 2010
- carried out programming in all eight counties of the state
- partnered with more than 100 organizations
We are asking that you consider supporting us during the #GreatGive because we believe greatness grows when you give! Together, we can impact the lives in our communities one seed at a time.
