Spring Newsletter
April has arrived, bringing with it the gentle rains of spring and the first signs of flowers. This year, Palm Sunday falls on April 5, a day traditionally marked with a fish fare meal shared among family and friends.
Holy Week follows, offering some of the most moving and meaningful services of the Greek Orthodox Church, culminating with the celebration of Pascha on April 12. We extend our warmest wishes to everyone for a blessed Καλὴ Ἀνάσταση.
Many cherished Greek traditions fill homes, from the fragrant baking of tsourekia, the aromas of sesame sprinkled κουλοὐρια and the vibrant colouring of Easter eggs. The highlights of the week is the roasting of lamb on Pascha Sunday. These moments bring families together and keep our beautiful traditions alive.
