GREELEY GREETING

Dear Winnetka Families,

We hope you had a nice holiday weekend and enjoyed the warmer temperatures. This will be our last joint newsletter of the school year as our final newsletter (next week) will be written by individual principals.

Last week, we included information about signing up for our Elementary Strings Program and for Orchestra at Skokie.  Please see information below about learning about and signing up for Band at Skokie:

Dear 4th Grade Families,

We are excited to share the opportunity for all current 4th grade students to sign up to join the Cadet Band as 5th graders at Skokie School. We encourage all students to take up a band instrument regardless of previous musical background. If your child participates in the Strings program, they can also participate in the Band program at Skokie School.

If your child is interested in exploring a Band instrument, please visit our website at www.winnetka36.org/band/instruments to learn more about what instruments you can choose from and how they sound.

On Wednesday, May 27th at 5:30 PM we will be hosting an open Zoom session for parents to come ask any questions you might have about Cadet Band membership for next year. Please use the link below to join the call.
