The Fall Season Continues

Billerica Memorial has a lot to be excited about heading into the week of September 28 through October 4! Football rolls into the week riding a perfect 3-0 record and looks to keep the momentum going with a road test at North Andover High School on Thursday, October 1st at 6:30 PM. Both Boys and Girls Cross Country, each undefeated at 2-0 on the season, face their biggest test yet on Wednesday, September 30th, taking on a also-undefeated Andover squad. Golf, with a strong 10-2 on the season, stays busy with three matches in four days — first squaring off against Concord-Carlisle at the Country Club of Billerica on Tuesday, then heading to Indian Ridge Country Club to face Andover on Wednesday, before wrapping up with a rematch against Concord-Carlisle at Concord Country Club on Thursday. Both soccer programs are in for an exciting stretch, each taking on Tewksbury Memorial and Lowell High School within the same week — Girls Soccer hosts Tewksbury on Tuesday before traveling to Lowell on Thursday, while Boys Soccer makes the trip to Tewksbury on Tuesday and welcomes Lowell home on Thursday. Girls Volleyball, looking to build on its 3-5 record, hits the road twice this week with matches at Andover on Tuesday and at Lowell on Thursday. Swim and Dive is riding high after a big win over Central Catholic this past Friday, improving to 1-2 on the season, and looks to carry that momentum into a home meet against Andover on Friday afternoon. With Andover on the schedule four times this week alone — cross country, golf, volleyball, and swimming — and four teams in action on both Tuesday and Thursday, it's shaping up to be an action-packed week of Billerica athletics — plenty of chances to cheer on the Indians as fall sports push into the heart of the season!

Class News

Club News

On Friday, September 25, more than 50 student clubs and organizations set up in the gymnasium for the school's annual Activity Fair. The event ran across all four lunch periods so every student had a chance to attend, with tables representing academic, service, cultural, athletic, and special-interest groups. Club officers and advisors spoke with students throughout the day, and many collected sign-ups from those interested in joining.

For students who want to follow up with a club, a meeting calendar is below that shows which day of the week each club meets throughout the month. The calendar should make it easier to plan around multiple clubs and know when to show up for a first meeting.
