CASCADES' Newest Advisory Committee Members - Dr. Meghan Davis!

Our very own Dr. Meghan Davis is joining the National Advisory Committee to help spread sustainable inhaler prescribing in primary care throughout Canada. Cascades (Creating a Sustainable Canadian Health System in a Climate Crisis) is a multi year capacity building initiative to address healthcare’s contribution to the climate crisis. The project is led by the University of Toronto’s Centre for Sustainable Health Systems with partnerships across Canada. One of CASCADE’s main areas of focus is metered dose inhalers. The HFHT Green Initiative can share what we have learned and the tools we have created.

Congratulations, Meghan!

Wawa Family Health Team has gotten a kick-start on improving their respiratory care by using guideline-based care to decrease MDI prescription! They are also working on reducing their exam bed paper. Amazing job, Wawa FHT!

You, too, can improve respiratory care AND earn CCFP Mainpro+ Credits with our accredited webinars and the PBSG Respiratory care module.
