What do Trees and Plastic Bags have in Common?
They both Blow in the Wind (sadly!)

One is grounded and the other is not!

The Calgary Green Exodus Team is excited to focus on the work of Land Acknowledgment and Land Embodiment we began in Canmore.

During the the next five weeks we will provide space and prompts to support each of us and, perhaps communities, in creating a land acknowledgment - in prose, poetry or picture.

This will be new work, fierce and generative and is designed for old timers and first timers. We look forward to seeing you this afternoon or in the next weeks.

Full Disclosure
The Green Exodus is an opportunity for participation

  • With each other through small and large group conversation.

  • With what is and what is more than us through various practices: noticing, meditation, contemplative photography, poetry, art, words from Wisdom Traditions.

  • In the creative, evolving urgency of our living on this Planet; both as we ourselves are creative, with joy and discovery, and as we are painfully aware of our place and potential in the evolution of our Earth.
