I would like to take a moment to thank the Celina Fire Department for their quick response to shut down the fire suppression system and stop the flow of water, and Allbright Services who were on site late into the evening on Tuesday for initial cleanup and demolition work.
Unfortunately, we do not have an estimate on when the Fitness Center will be back in service, but as you can imagine with the amount of damage and the need to involve our insurance carrier to process a claim, it will be a while before repairs are completed. One of the first calls made was to our insurance agent to begin the claims process, and we have a pending claim with the carrier. The next step will be to meet with an adjuster, and as soon as that is done, and we have contractor estimates to review, I expect to have another update for the community shortly thereafter.
As noted in the previous communication, the building is inaccessible to residents and all key fobs have been temporarily disabled.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding as we work to get the building repairs completed.
