New Green Schools Sponsors - THANK YOU |
A BIG thank you to Conserve School and the Red Sox Foundation for sponsoring Green Schools, our Green Difference Awards and our Green Schools Summit!
Each semester Conserve School brings together sixty tenth and eleventh grade students who share a strong attachment to the natural world and who are motivated to conserve it. This semester-long immersion in environmental studies and outdoor activities deepens their love of nature, reinforces their commitment to conservation, and equips them to take meaningful action as environmental stewards. Students return to their sending schools energized to take action.
The mission of the Red Sox Foundation is to harness the passion their fans have for the Red Sox and transform it into a vehicle for positive exchange in their community. Each year the Red Sox Foundation also makes a limited number of small grants to select nonprofits in New England on a rotating basis and we also work with Front Office members, sponsors and volunteers of Red Sox Nation on a variety of community service projects

The World Advanced Vehicle Expedition (WAVE) is a people's movement offering practical environmentally sustainable actions following the 2015 Paris agreement on climate change. We are looking for schools in coastal cities, where the pupils should simply write their commitment to reducing polluting carbon dioxide (CO2) gas on a piece of paper of 8 x 12 cm. We are inviting 1,000,000 school children in 100 coastal cities from around the world to submit these papers. We would then gather and unveil these at the UN in Switzerland on June 17 as part of an international climate campaign. Learn More
