Single use plastics and can bottle deposit scheme - shape the debate!

The State Government is looking for your input about the impacts of single-use plastic products and improving SA's container deposit scheme. This is great opportunity for you to share your views on these matters by participating in an online survey. There is a separate survey for each subject, although the brief summary discussion paper deals with both topics together.

It's open until 22 February so there's just a few days left to add your voice to the debate.

Friends of Hallett Cove Conservation Park
The Friends of Hallett Cove Conservation Park are a local conservation group who undertake a range of activities to restore the conservation park at Hallett Cove. They meet weekly to do weeding, planting, path maintenance and collect seed from local indigenous plants.

The Hallett Cove Conservation Park has extensive walking trails including the coastal walking trail. The group works hard to make the park a sanctuary for wildlife, and for this reason, dogs are not allowed in the park. The park has a fascinating geological heritage and the group run guided geological walks for schools and other interested groups.
Hallett Cove Conservation park is 'Park of the Month' this February. See the Parks SA website to find out about the various activities you can take part in, including nature journaling, guided ranger walks and smart phone nature photography.

The friends group always welcome new people to help them at "the most beautiful place to volunteer in the world". If you are interested, contact Penny on 0421 871 271 or email [email protected]
