Scholastic Book Fair at the GV Library October 18-25

The book fair will be Dino-Mite!

The fall 2024 Scholastic Book Fair is right around the corner! We are so excited to share a wonderful selection of books from Scholastic for our Scholastic Book Fair! We’re looking forward to making this a fun event for everyone—after all, who doesn’t love a “dino-mite” book to buy and a “dino-mite” story to read? The theme for this year’s fall book fair is— Dino-mite! Don’t let books become extinct—reading is quite fun don’t you think?  All proceeds from the book fair go toward purchasing new books and supplies for the GV library.

In preparation for Ruby Bridges Walk to School day on November 14th our student No Place For Hate Committee has chosen ‘I am Ruby Bridges’ as October’s book of the month. In addition our neighbors at the Sunrise Senior Living Community have pledged to supply every classroom at Green Valley with a copy of the book. We are so grateful for this generous contribution to our students. For anyone looking to have a copy at home, here is the link.
