Join us for a twilight seminar which will focus on discussion and knowledge sharing on the topic of workplace productivity and healthy buildings.

Derek has authored the EU report 'Sustainable Buildings for Better Health, Comfort and Well-being' and will explain how the report examines how the built environment affects our well-being and this in turn influences our work effectiveness in the workplace.

Chris Pottage (Skanska)

The financial benefits of improved health and well-being - as a result improved productivity

In this presentation Chris will talk a little about his background working for Skanska in London bidding for and delivering Energy Performance Contracts in the public and private sectors as a precursor to his interest and subsequent research into enhancing the business case for investment in green buildings.

Colin Harrop (JLL)

Business case for greener buildings

Colin will investigate research outlining the business cases for green buildings and refurbishments. We will investigate issues facing occupiers and investor clients and review the benefits and costs of action as well as the risks of inaction.
