25 Year Member
Darrell Day, 44 of Hanover, received his 25 year pin from the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association pictured with his plaque and certificate. Darrell joined the CGSA in 1993 while attending Seneca College in King City, receiving his Golf Course Technician diploma, to run the Day Family owned golf company. He looks forward to another 25 years of operating the Whispering Hills 18-hole golf club and Ironwedge Target Greens Range.

Gord Witteveen Award
Write an article for GreenMaster and be eligible for The Gordon Witteveen Award, sponsored by The Toro Company. It is presented to the superintendent or assistant superintendent that publishes an article in GreenMaster whose article is judged as being the best of the year by a panel of peers.  Authors must be a CGSA “Superintendent” or “Assistant Superintendent” member. The recipient receives a $500 monetary award from Toro, an All Access conference registration and is presented with a plaque at The Canadian Golf Course Management Conference awards ceremony.
