Regional Reports
British Columbia Report
At the time of this report many superintendents in BC have traded in their toques for hose carts as summer finally arrived and with a vengeance in some parts of the province. Out west we’ll deal with the heat stress for another month, all of us looking forward to the sweet days of fall.
A big congratulations needs to go out to the three superintendents in BC that hosted MacKenzie Tour events this season. Tyler Patroch, AGS - Point Grey Golf and Country Club, Brian Youell, MS, AGS – Uplands Golf Club, and Fritz Verkerk – Gallagher’s Canyon Golf and Country Club. I have heard that all three courses were in outstanding condition, exceeding expectations. Well done gentlemen.
