Alberta Report
Everyone will be happy that November is over. Cold Temperatures, snow, rain and of course ice were causing lots of problems as everyone put their courses to bed. Throughout Alberta guys are trying new methods and different techniques to keep their greens free of ice. From new insulators with ice shields, to no cover at all. Let’s hope everyone has great results for their property.
Quebec Report
John Scott
As I look out the window snowflakes are falling and are forecasted for the next 3 days. Golf courses are buttoned down for the winter and most courses are finished for the season or doing tree work and or finishing up projects. Everything went as planned this fall, well not really. The first snowstorm of 20 cm came on November 11 and made everyone scramble to close their courses faster and earlier than planned .
