First and foremost, I am hoping this report is finding everyone well. These have been different times in our world and hopefully all our members and their extended families are doing well. I also know that there has been a lot of stress both financially and mentally when it comes to the day to day situations of life. Many of us were at home for an extended period-of-time, and that continues for those that have kids or better half’s working from home. The reports from Alberta continue to trend positive and let’s hope the numbers with the virus will remain low. For those that have lost loved ones during this time, our thoughts go out to you.

Paying Membership Dues is Easier with New Membership System

IPM Updates for Ontario Members

The Ontario Government has released the final decision on proposed amendments. For golf courses, the annual public meeting has been eliminated but annual notification of neighbours and the Ministry has been added if you don't have a fence around your property.

The Canadian Golf Industry Show
|
Due to the uncertainty of COVID-19, the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association, PGA of Canada, and National Golf Course Owners Association Canada regrettably announced that the launch of the Canadian Golf Industry Show, planned for this November in Vancouver, must be postponed. It is CGSA's intention to review options for The Canadian Golf Course Management Conference and Trade Show to be held during its traditional time in late February/early March, pending government restrictions.
