Well winter is fast approaching in all parts of the country including BC. Most of the tweets, texts and other correspondence all seem to involve irrigation blowout, aeration, or tarping greens. All of these a sure sign that golf season is all or mostly over, and in most cases they are accompanied with a big sigh of relief. Condolences to our Superintendents in the Lower Mainland and on Vancouver Island who will continue their hard work all year long. |

This past summer CGSA conducted it’s first member survey in nearly a decade. This edition of the survey was sent to nearly 800 members and asked all sorts of questions including what they liked best about CGSA and what we could work on.
CGSA received an 18.5% response rate to the survey (survey benchmarks indicate that a 10% return is an excellent response); with majority of responses received from Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents.
